1 Euro Houses in Marche

The Marche region is distinguished by a strong homogeneity. Much of the territory is hilly and the inhabited centers are mostly located on the top of the hills, in the agricultural landscape. The villages are characterized by numerous small plots, bordered by centuries-old oaks and marked by farmhouses.

In the Marche region most of the municipalities flourish, but there are small points in the inland which have difficulty in repopulating its areas. There are regional and local initiatives that try to combat abandonment, including the 1 euro houses project.
