The singular initiative launched several months ago by the municipality of Ollolai, which consists in the purchase — with consequent renovation — of the old houses at the symbolic cost of 1 euro, makes its way to the other side of the world.

7 Sydney News, one of the most popular Australian television broadcasters has in fact aired a report on the matter.

In a story, curated by Hugh Whitfeld, they showed the houses of the town and interviewed the residents. They explained that the main problem of the village is depopulation, because the inhabitants are leaving in search for job opportunities.
