1€ Houses
Are 1€ Houses a real thing? Yes the are, and they are available in more than 30 municipalities all over Italy.
The properties available are abandoned houses in small Italian villages, sold at a symbolic price to the new owners. After the purchase, the goal is to renovate them and live in them or create a business around them.
In Italy, the 1 euro houses have been very successful from 2019 onwards. Many houses have been, even to foreigners, which has stimulated the growth of small municipalities and the development of rural areas.
Here you can find a list of articles related to 1€ houses. The articles of the municipalities contain all the information, public link to the process of sale and purchase of houses.
We have also included some information on the history, gastronomy and geography of the municipalities involved. In this way, those interested in buying can also consider the beauty of the area.
In any case, the best way to find out more is to come and visit the villages and see the houses, discovering the “typicality” of each individual village.
